The friendly local island pub The Puffer Bar is open all year round. During the summer The Puffer Bar is also a Tea Room

The bar is open Easter to September 7 days a week all day till late. During the off peak season they are open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 7.30pm till late.

The tearoom and restuarant is open April to September 11.00am – 4.00pm, 7 days. The tearoom and restaurant has been transformed into a light and airy space. Subtle touches of the seashore and New England create a clean, crisp environment where you can enjoy a relaxing meal or snack. There is also an outside patio with stunning views over the harbour and the Firth of Lorne.

The summer daytime menu offers a wide variety including homemade soup, a choice of filled panini, local venison burgers, local seafood, homemade cakes and scones, Mackie’s ice cream, Lavazza coffee and the best chips!! One thing they don’t do is fast food. Everything is freshly made so kick back, relax, enjoy the view and they'll be with you as quickly as they can.

During the summer months of July and August they offer evening suppers, in the restaurant, on Friday and Saturday nights. Their menus change weekly and usually offer three choices each of starter, main and dessert, (see sample menu). Booking ahead is essential. They offer freshly cooked produce NOT freezer meals so please phone 01852 300022 and reserve a table to avoid disappointment.

2009 will also herald the addition of their Gourmet Seafood Supper Nights. 100% local produce straight from the sea to the door! Lobster, scallops, langoustines, crab, oysters and smoked salmon with homemade bread and mayo’s. They went down a storm at last World Stone Skimming Championships weekend here’s what some of the customers had to say...

"Without a doubt the best seafood experience I've had, this side of the Adriatic" Adrian Laycock, Easdale Island.

"As a former fisherman I know my seafood and the seafood in the Puffer is as good as it gets. Combined with a convivial atmosphere and fast friendly service a seafood supper in the Puffer is a real treat." Mike MacKenzie, Easdale Island

"The seafood suppers are fantastic value for money and should not be missed. Fresh local produce, wonderfully cooked and presented. An absolute must!" Sandra Melville, Easdale Island
